History
The Italian company Ferrania was founded in 1923. It was mainly known as a producer of film, but they also produced some cameras as well. They were involved in areas related to photography, such as printing.
The company had ties with other companies such as Dacora and Galileo . Some Ferrania cameras were made by Dacora in Germany. Ferrania Condor cameras was made by Galileo and distributed by Ferrania and Galileo.
The company was purchased by the 3M company in 1964.
