History
Before the Second World War, Martin Hanke (Hama) owned a photo wholesale business in Dresden. He had good connections with the Pouva company. In 1952, Hanke moved to Mohnheim (Bavaria) and set up a camera production facility with a former Pouva employee. Cameras were manufactured at Hamaphot until around 1960.
